Trip Under for Claude
Ask Claude for an underrated trip and it answers with Trip Under's real, itemised costs, in your own currency, with a link to the full plan.
What it does
The Trip Under connector gives Claude two read-only tools over the same data as this site: 150 destinations, 77 treks and 62 sacred places worldwide.
- Find underrated places (
find_places): search destinations, treks or sacred places by month, daily budget, country, region or free text. Each result says what famous place it replaces, what it costs per day on the ground, its best months and its Trip Under page. - Price a trip (
trip_cost): the on-the-ground cost of a trip to one destination for any number of people and days, at shoestring, mid-range or comfortable style, in INR, USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, SGD or AED. Flights are not included.
Set it up
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector (or add Trip Under from the Connectors directory once it is listed).
- Name it Trip Under and paste the server URL:

Accuracy and limits
Prices are ballpark ranges from each place's sourced research, not live quotes, and they move with season and demand. Each answer links to the full Trip Under page, which lists its sources and the date they were checked. Trip Under is not a travel agency: you book every piece yourself, and no booking link carries a commission.
Privacy and support
The connector is read-only. It needs no account, stores nothing about you, and only receives the search filters Claude sends (month, budget, place). See the privacy policy. Questions or a wrong price: hello@tripunder.com.
