Short answer

There is no nonstop flight from Manila to Siargao now. Fly into Sayak airport (IAO) from Clark (Cebu Pacific, two to three hours north of Manila by road), Cebu (Cebu Pacific, PAL Express or Sunlight Air, about an hour) or Davao (Cebu Pacific). Or take a boat: fastcraft ferries cross from Surigao City to Dapa in about two hours. From the airport, a shared van to General Luna takes about 45 minutes. The driest months are May to September.

Siargao is an island off north-east Mindanao, best known for the Cloud 9 surf break and the lagoons and islands around General Luna. Getting there is the hard part, and it changed twice in eighteen months.

How we checked. Airline and ferry routes come from a Philippine travel guide updated on 28 October 2026 and dated news reports, which we name; we could not confirm every route on the airlines' own pages, so check before you book. Rainfall is the Philippine weather service (PAGASA) long-term average for Surigao City, the nearest station. Prices are in Philippine pesos (PHP); this page does not include airfares, which change daily.
