Travel advice: The UK FCDO (page updated 24 Jul 2026, still current 18 Oct 2026) does not advise against travel to the UAE, but warns that because of rising regional tensions Israeli and Jewish-linked sites in the UAE could be targeted. The complex includes a synagogue: expect security checks and follow staff instructions. FCDO also warns of Iranian strikes across the region since 8 July 2026 and flight disruption at short notice. Hours and tour rules differ between guides and the official site would not load on 18 Oct 2026; confirm on the booking page before you go.

Hours and rules can change for festivals and services. Check the official site on the day.
