Jeju Olle Trail (Routes 5-7) trek: grade, cost & permits

Jeju Olle is a 437 km chain of 27 village-to-village walking routes around Jeju Island, built by the non-profit Jeju Olle Foundation. Routes 5, 6 and 7 are the classic south-coast stretch: Namwon Port to Soesokkak (13.4 km, 4-5 h) past the Keuneong cliffs and camellia-walled villages; Soesokkak to Seogwipo (10.1 km, 3-4 h) via Jeongbang Falls and the Olle market; and Seogwipo to the bus terminal (12.9 km, 3-4 h) past Oedolgae sea stack and the hand-dug Subong-ro path. One route a day, back to the same bed each night. It's the island's coast and villages at walking pace, instead of the car-and-tour-bus Jeju most visitors see.
