How to reach it
Bus or taxi from Kasaragod towards Panathady, then the forest checkpoint at the base of the hill.

Forest department entry ticket and, for the deeper trail, a guide arranged at the checkpoint.

Trainers, water, a light jacket — it's noticeably cooler and greener than the coastal plain below.
